The Minnesota Shade Tree Advisory Committee (MnSTAC) is recognized
throughout Minnesota for its expertise, advice, coordination, and support in
matters related to community forestry. It is an advocate for public and private
community forestry interests statewide and serves as a forum for the exchange
and dissemination of ideas and information.
A direct result of the MnSTAC's work is the development of a working relationship among the agencies principally responsible for state-wide programs: University of Minnesota Extension and research, Minnesota Departments of Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Transportation.
MnSTAC is organized into standing committees, ad hoc sub-committees, and task forces. For more information about the initiatives and programs of the Minnesota Shade Tree Advisory Committee, please contact us.
