The Minnesota Shade Tree Advisory Committee (MnSTAC) is recognized throughout Minnesota and the country for its expertise, advice, coordination and support for community trees. MnSTAC fosters and supports local community tree programs across the state so healthy community forests are fully integrated into community development, infrastructure, education and management.

Join MnSTAC Monthly Forum

Educational forums are focused on timely topics and issues related to urban and community forestry and the environment.  The forums provide the opportunity to network with other like minded people. Forums take place on the third Thursday of each month from 10:00 to 11:00 a. m.

MnSTAC Awards

Each year MnSTAC awards special recognition to individuals and organizations in a variety of categories with focus on the betterment of community forestry, i.e. planting, preservation, protection, and more.
