Persons attending Glen Shirley, President, Michael Max, Mark Stennes Ken Holman, Robert Slater, Dave DeVoto, Jim Hermann, Mike Zins, Katie Himanga, Mark Schnobrick, Laura Nueberger, Stephanie Newberger and Kirk Brown. Janet Larson, Dwight Robinson, and Gary Johnson were excused.
Meeting called to order at 3:05 p.m. by President Glen Shirley
Approve Minutes of 12 September Robinson / Max / Passed
Glen Shirley updated the board on the progress of the strategic plan. Due to computer difficulties the plan was not distributed to Committee Chairs prior to the meeting. The portions of the plan targeted toward a specific committees will be forwarded for the committee’s comment. The Planning Committee expects to have feedback from all of the committees prior to the November meeting.
The board discussed the plan with the following comments:
 | Each committee is to review the plan and let the Planning Committee know where they "fit". They are also being encouraged to add important tasks if they are not listed. |
| Tie the planning process to the budget process |
| Have an annual review by the Planning Committee |
The Board will review, discuss and vote on the plan at the November meeting.
Glen Shirley distributed the MnSTAC calendar for the coming year. The calendar was approved by consensus.
