Board of Directors Meeting
MN DOA, 2nd Flood Conference Room, St. Paul, MN.

Meeting called to order at 3:11 p.m. by President Glen Shirley
Approve Minutes of 11 April

Dave DeVoto handed out copies of MSTAC’s plan developed by the Strategic Planning committee. Mr. DeVoto asked that each member review the plan and comment on the assignments given to committees at the next Ex Board meeting. The Planning Committee will then seek full committee input on the plan and then acceptance.
Motion:
Members of Executive Board review the strategic plan developed by the Strategic Planning Committee and to approve it, with suggestions, at the September Executive Board meeting.

Glen Shirley polled members to see it they were planning to attend the luncheon hosted by Gerald Rose and S. Olin Phillips for the MnSTAC’s Executive Board and Committee Chairs to discuss DNR’s support and their relationship to MnSTAC.
Glen Shirley sought input and a headcount for the joint meeting with Wisconsin’s State Council.
Glen Shirley is unable to attend the upcoming Summit 2000 in Nebraska City. The council has one scholarship available for the Summit. It was agreed that Committee Cairs would be offered the opportunity to represent MnSTAC at the Summit.
Mike Max gave an update on the data base he is organizing for the DNR.
